Over the years we have taken on a small collection of homes outside Noosa. Country weekends, a river house in Brisbane, and two island retreats worth the flights. Every one is a place we would happily stay ourselves.

THE DAIRY
A country weekend, nothing to prove
A little stone studio on Westham, a property that has been standing since the 1830s. It sleeps two, with a fire out the back and vineyards and distilleries a short drive in every direction.
Slow mornings, a hamper if you would like one, and quiet enough to hear yourself think. And yes, bring the dog.

A whole house, entirely yours
Five storeys of architecture above the river, with city and water views from every level. Taken as an exclusive hire, it suits a celebration or a gathering that deserves a proper backdrop.
Catering, a bar, a butler, massage and therapists can all be arranged. You bring the reason to celebrate.

Where time moves at the right pace
A hidden corner of Fiji, with snorkelling and fishing off the doorstep and fresh local food on the table. Take the whole house for a big group, or just one of the two self-contained units.
The kind of place where the plan is to have no plan at all.
Waiheke Island, New Zealand
FLEETWOOD HOUSE & STUDIOS
Island living, quietly done
Two studios side by side on Waiheke, each with its own entrance and parking. Book one for a couple, or both when you are travelling together and would still like your own front door.
Vineyards, beaches and the ferry back to Auckland whenever you decide you are ready.
